We are trying something new this year, so please help spread the word about this exciting new golf tournament fund raiser on the day of the Northwest vs. Northern football game on Friday, September 6, 2013.
The Viking Vision athletic facilities fundraising group at Northwest Guilford High School is cohosting a fund raising golf tournament with the Northern Guilford High School Booster club called the Viking-Nighthawk Golf Challenge sponsored by Ameriprise Financial Group. It will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Bryan Park Golf Center. The PDF file brochure is attached to this email.
The format will be two man captains choice with two man teams that will compete in match play versus a team from the other school. The school with the most match play wins will be presented a trophy at the football game on September 6th.
If anyone is interested in putting a team in or if your business or booster club is willing to be a hole sponsor, please let me know. Space is limited and the cost will be $90 per person with an optional two mulligans purchased for $10. Each golfer will receive a box lunch. Also, we are selling premier sponsorships for $500 and hole sponsorships for $200. Registration and hole sponsor deadline is August 30th.
Viking Vision is a nonprofit organization designed to improve athletic facilities at Northwest High School. Some past projects have included the new weight equipment in the field house, concession stand construction, storage sheds, general upkeep of the athletic field grass, batting cages, and many other improvements.
