Brendon Todd Fires 61 To Win Wyndham Championship Monday Qualifier

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Brendon Todd led four golfers who joined the field for this week’s Wyndham Championship through the tournament’s Monday qualifier, the tournament announced today. The 74th annual Wyndham Championship begins Thursday.

Contested today at Prolific Club at Forest Oaks, Todd fired a 61 to take medalist honors at the Monday qualifying event. Five other golfers tied for second firing six-under-par 66. Greensboro’s Andrew McLardy, Kyle Reifers and PGA TOUR veteran Billy Mayfair advanced through the playoff among the five golfers tied for second place to earn a spot in the Wyndham. The other golfers were Charlotte’s Bruce McDonald and Salisbury’s Will Collins.
