The Eaves Report:Elite Middle School Camp-Coming Soon!

The Eaves Report with former N.C. A&T Aggies men’s basketball coach Jerry Eaves……Elite Middle School Camp Coming Soon!

Here is the second group of Middle School Players that will attend the First Elite Middle School Camp to be held at the Spears YMCA on Sat, Sept 14, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

Nolan Abrams:
Nolan is an 8th grade student at Southeast Middle School. He is a member of the Mid-State Magic AAU program; Director/Coach Rod Cousin. Nolan is a great athlete with good legs and can really defend the ball. He has long arms and quick hands which is a recipe for stealing the ball…watch out. Nolan loves to go strong to the basket with his right hand, and has a nice 15 foot jump shot. Comes from a close-knit family.

Tristan Perry:
Tristan is a 7th grade student at Kernodle Middle School. A crafty-lefty with a great IQ for the game. He also has a tremendous shooting touch from 17 feet. Tristan is a great finisher around the basket and is ambidextrous (can use both hands) with lay-ups.

Asaiah Leggett:
Asaiah is a promising 6th grader at Southeast Middle School. His AAU team finished 4th in the Nationals at Myrtle Beach. Asaiah has a nice shooting touch, and loves to push the ball with his right hand. He is an honor roll student and has a great character.

Dwayne Crossen, Jr.:
I will have a write-up on Dwayne on Sunday, Sept 8th; did not receive information from his Coach. But be on the lookout for Mr. Crossen’s Bio.

The third group will be reported on Sun, Sept 8, 2013, so make sure to stay-tuned!

The excitement is building and word is spreading like wild fire about this elite camp, so please sign-up today as space is limited. NOTE – there will be an article about the camp in the Sunday’s paper of the Sports Section on Sept 8th. If you have interest, please contact me or your Middle School Coach. Don’t miss out on the action! See you soon.

Sincerely,

Coach Jerry Eaves

  1. Nice reports.

Some middle schools feed more than one high school (or some kids going to a private high school). It would be a nice addition to see which high school they were bound for.
