Wesleyan at Greensboro Day…Girls at 5:30 and boys at 7pm….Theo Pinson, Donovan Gilmore and Trojans coming into the DAC/Dillard Athletic Center and there will be plenty of electricity in the air there tonight….WES has been without JaQuel Richmond lately and that could be a factor this evening….The court seems to get smaller and tighter when you have two very good teams like GDS and WES going at it….Both of these teams would love to spread it out and run if they can make that happen….
Page at Dudley…..Girls at 6 and boys at 7pm….Girls game could be a barn-burner with much of the Metro at stake in this one….Boys could be interesting….Dudley gave Greensboro Day a good game through three quarters back on Monday, at the Coliseum…Page coming off of a very big win on Monday over Trinity Christian….Both Page and Dudley girls teams have seen some injuries creep in, so players will have to be ready to step up and help out and take advantage of opportunities….
Northwest Guilford at Southwest Guilford….Girls at 6 and boys at 7:30 and the SWG girls are rolling and the NWG Vikings would like to put a dent in the Cowgirls’ ‘Ranch House’/Barn….Tough to do with Burgins and Rogers and Monk playing like they have been playing…..Boys game makes for a possible ‘classic’….SWG coming off of a loss last night at East Forsyth and they can’t stand to fall further down the conference ladder and NWG already has a loss, after to falling in Jamestown two Fridays ago…This one means a lot if both teams want to keep pace with current front-runner East Forsyth….
East Forsyth at Ragsdale….Ragsdale must run from ‘Rags to Riches’ after last week’s loss to SWG and work to beat what some have called the ‘best’ team in the conference right now, East Forsyth….Girls game, Ragsdale needs a win in a bad way and this ought to be the right stop….
Southeast Guilford at Grimsley…..6 for girls and 7:30 for boys and I am thinking split here…SEG girls and Grimsley boys….If wrong, my apologies to both sides…Might be a chance for SEG boys to steal and I am not here to encourage stealing, but in basketball, stealing can get you places and for sure, get you to the basket quick when you swipe that ball…

McMichael at Eastern Guilford….Girls at 6pm and the boys at 7:30 and this might turn into the Quayson and Quan Show in the boys game with Quayson Williams from EG and Quan Mims, from McMichael as your leading scorers….
High Point Central at Glenn….Most of the rest of our games will be girls at 6pm and the boys at 7, unless noted…HP Central boys are still trying to be a sleeper in the Piedmont Triad Athletic/PTA Conference and they have to be wide-awake tonight vs. the Bobcats, to keep their hopes alive….
Smith at Southern Alamance…..Southern Alamance girls and Smith boys here, unless someone can tell me something different…Smith boys will have their hands full, but the Golden Eagles have the talent to win this game….Wonder what ever happened to Tracy Gathings, he is a good blast from the past, from the Eagles….
Southern Guilford at Southwestern Randolph….True test and a ‘step-up’ time for the Southern Guilford girls…They must be ready to beat SWR if they want to be in that ‘Champions’ conversation….
Western Alamance at Northern Guilford…..Seems like these two just played each other the other day, but no need to panic, Northern should take care of business and win both of these games tonight…..
High Point Andrews at Wheatmore….HP Andrews girls still have visions of a long stay in the 2-A playoffs dancing in their heads and why not, I still think that they can do it and the HPA boys looking to make some merry noise, if they can beat ‘The Wheat’ on a cold Trinity street……
High Point Christian at Calvary Baptist….Girls get at it at 5:30pm and very impressed with the job that Brandon Clifford is doing with the Cougars…Might be his best coaching job since he got there….
Trinity from Durham at Caldwell Academy….5:30 girls and boys at 7pm…Eagles looking to make a move….
The Burlington School at Westchester Country Day….6pm here and for WCD, they are on at least a one-game winning streak and there will be no girls game since WCD does not have a girls team, but they may slip a JV game in here on us…..
WS Atkins at Bishop McGuinness…6:30 for the boys and 8pm for the girls….Big Week for Spencer Wilson and Bishop boys and ‘The Shot’ has brought a lot of attention to the Villains and look out for Nick Efird, Will Gardner, Jack O’Halloran and more from the boys and the Bishop girls lost to Southwest Guilford back on Monday and Coach Brian Robinson’s team doesn’t lose very often….
