Mid-State 3-A Tournament cancelled….TAC/Triad Athletic Conference for independent schools cancelled….

They have to finish up the regular season in the Metro with games on Monday and they go….Page at Southern Alamance, Southeast Guilford at Dudley and Smith at Grimsley….

Then boys and girls tournaments will then begin on Tuesday with action at both Page and Dudley for Round…The tournament will then move over to Dudley full-time for Wednesday’s and Thursdays semifinals and then Friday’s finals will follow, all at Dudley….

Round One of the Metro 4-A Tournament for Tuesday….

at Dudley:

Men’s #3 vs. #6 Southeast Guiford at 7:30pm

at Page:
Women’s #4 vs. #5 Smith at 6PM
Men’s #4 vs. #5 at 7:30pm…..

*****On Monday, the Page and Southern Alamance girls are playing to see who gets the #1 and #2 spot Metro, the Dudley and SEG girls are playing to see who gets the #3 and #4 spots….The Page boys are playing to keep the #1 seed, the Dudley boys are hoping for a Page loss and a Dudley win to try and tie Page for #1,(How they would decide that, I have no earthly idea, unless they play on Tuesday at a neutral side….The Grimsley, Smith, and Southern Alamance boys are all playing to see where they will fall in order of 2, 3, and 4 in the seedings race for Tuesday’s Round One….I think right now they are alll right arond the (4-5) mark in the conference…

We ahall see…*****

  1. Dudley and Page would both be (7-3) at the end and they split during the regular season…

How would the edge go to Dudley????

Seems like they would be dead even with both at (7-3) and having split the season series….

  2. Page boys have one conference loss(8-1) and Dudley only has two(7-2)….It gets a little more tighter when you look at the fact that they split their games in the regular season….

Page and Southern Alamance girls even tighter with both at (7-2) and Page won the previous meeting 62-60, at Page…They will face off at SA, in Graham, on Monday night…
