College Women’s Lacrosse Final – Guilford 18, Hollins 2

GREENSBORO, N.C. – E’leyna Garcia scored three goals and four assists in Guilford College’s 18-2 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) lacrosse win over visiting Hollins University Wednesday night.

Teammate Lily Colley added six points on two goals and four assists as the Quakers (8-3) improved to 7-0 in the league. Nine of the Quakers scored and rookie reserve Megan Gaeth netted a career-high three goals in the victory. Eleanora Keene also had three goals, plus a game-high seven draw controls.

The Quakers led 13-0 at halftime and scored the game’s first 17 goals before Rikki Martinez got Hollins (1-9, 0-8 ODAC) on the scoreboard. Jessie Deese tallied a free-position goal with 6:09 left in the game. Goaltender Maddie Horton made four saves and had four ground balls for the visitors.

Guilford visits nationally ranked league-rival Washington and Lee University Saturday (4/12).
