ELON, N.C. – After a midweek match Wednesday, the Elon volleyball team (3-4) is back to tournament play this weekend in the Hampton Inn & Suites of Holly Springs Invitational in Buies Creek, N.C. The Phoenix plays North Florida on Friday, Sept. 12, at 4:30 p.m. and South Carolina (10 a.m.) and host Campbell (7 p.m.) on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Looking Back
The Phoenix picked up a 3-2 win on Wednesday in its third five-set match of the season. The Panthers took the first set but Elon rallied to win sets two and three before the match moved to a deciding fifth set. The Phoenix played in the Gamecock Invitational in 2011 where South Carolina claimed a 3-1 win.
