GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford was able to break away from a tough Calvary Baptist team despite atrocious free throw shooting. The Vikings shot an abysmal 43% from the free throw line but used a decisive 4th quarter run on the way to a 71-57 win.
–Jalen Spicer led Northwest’s team effort on the scoreboard with 14 points. Reggie Davis scored 11 points and had 8 rebounds to go along with 4 steals for the Vikings. Riley Edwards came off the bench and contributed 11 points during the 4th quarter Viking spurt.
–Jaylen Gore contributed a near double-double of 9 points and 9 assists. Kevin Henry added 7 rebounds while Sam Covington played a nice all-around game with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks for Northwest.
–Cecil Moore led Calvary with 21 points while Christian Adams and Peter Parkilay added 16 and 10 points each.
