@Kev N&R reported last week that Southeast’s stadium still isn’t ready. The Falcons are now scheduled to play their home opener Oct. 2
Both SEG varsity and JV on the road this week at SWG and that has been the case all season long and it has been a long road trip to begin 2015…
I think the home opener for SEG is now listed as was mentioned above on October 2 vs. Ragsdale and that would bring the former Southeast Guilford head coach(Tommy Norwood) back to his old stadium, to open up the new stadium, named in honor of former SEG coach Bill Slayton…Slayton just inducted into the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame on Monday evening/last night…That would give you three generations of SEG coaches, so to speak, represented at that game with Coach Slayton(stadium), Coach Norwood(former coach) and Coach Fritz Hesenthaler(current coach)….
SEG soccer does not use the football field, but they have been moving the soccer around some this year at SEG:
