A couple of scores of interest from the Charlotte-area from last night….Hough 28, Vance 27….I think both of those teams will be tough outs in the playoffs…Butler 31, Independence 0…

301:Connell Young(Dudley HS) had 301 yards rushing on 20 carries with 5 TD’s and two, two-point conversions for a total of 34 points and scored 34 of his team’s 49 points last night
128:Geoffrey Wall(High Point Central HS) with 128 yards rushing and 1 TD…
106:Jaren Rainey(Southwest Guilford HS) had 106 yards passing with 1 TD pass and 1 TD run…
96:Tre Turner(Northwest Guilford HS) with 96 yards on 2 receptions and a TD…Turner now with 4 TD receptions on the season….
70:Tamarius Howze(Southwest Guilford HS) had 70 yards on 17 carries with 2 TD runs…

  1. Looking at the playoff brackets, I see the Piedmont Triad 4A is really going down hill other than potentially the best team in the state East Forsyth. SW Guilford is #2 team in that conference!! Wow! That doesn’t say much for that conference.
