Bishop McGuinness dropped a tough home conference game Tuesday night to W-S Prep. Bishop had team high totals from Desmond Freeman & Ryan Moon at 12pts each. The Villains really stifled Prep all night by changing defenses throughout the game. Bishop travels to North Stokes Friday for their first road conference game of the season.

  1. I thought NW was a championship type of team yet they went to North Surry and lost?? I did not see the game but I would assume North Surry had a lot of bigs which is something NW does not have. I could see this team losing to SW or GDS but I did not see this specific lost.

  2. Didn’t see the NW game, but received an update from someone “close to the program”. NW led most of the game, and was ahead by 20 mid 3rd quarter. I believe they still led by 14 at the end of the 3rd. Lots of missed FT’s, layups and other cold shooting from that point on, plus NS got hot from 3, resulted them losing a game they had no business losing. Tre Turner did not play, which of course was a factor, but this was a loss that should not have happened. Perhaps it will wake them up a bit.

  3. That’s a big loss when Tre Turner is out. You are probably talking a sure 12-18 points a game….Would make a difference…
