Baseball (0-4)

Elon at UNCG, Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m., Greensboro, N.C.

Elon vs. La Salle, Friday – Sunday, Feb. 26 – 28, at 4/2:30/1 p.m., Latham Park

• Junior outfielder Kyle Jackson hit three home runs and drove in seven in game two of the four-game series with Wright State. Jackson became the first Elon player to homer three times in a game since May 29, 2009, when Bennett Davis did so against Southern Miss.

• The Phoenix is scheduled to play four games this week, beginning with a Tuesday bout at former SoCon rival UNCG. Elon is 34-15 all-time against the Spartans.

• Elon will then return home to host the La Salle Explorers for three games over the weekend. The maroon and gold is 6-0 all-time against La Salle.

Men’s Basketball (15-14, 6-10 CAA)

Elon vs. William & Mary, Thursday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym

Elon at Delaware, Saturday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m., Newark, Del.

• Elon completed a 1-1 week defeating Drexel 81-76 on Thursday and falling at Towson 67-56 on Saturday.

• Thursday’s contest against William & Mary is Senior Night in Alumni Gym. The Phoenix will recognize the four-member class of Wes Brewer, Sam Hershberger, Tony Sabato and Tanner Samson for their contributions to the basketball program.

• The maroon and gold wraps up the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 27, on the road at Delaware for a 2 p.m. tip.

Men’s Golf

Loyola Intercollegiate, Sunday – Tuesday, Feb. 28 – March 1, Goodyear, Ariz.

• Elon opens the 2016 spring season at the Loyola Intercollegiate this weekend.

• The Phoenix earned a top-10 finish in all four tournaments during the spring season, including a fourth place finish at the Elon Intercollegiate.

• The maroon and gold returns six from a squad that finished fifth at the 2015 CAA Championships.

Men’s Tennis (4-3)

Elon at Campbell, Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m., Buies Creek, N.C.

Elon vs. Brown, Friday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m., Jimmy Powell Tennis Center

Elon vs. VCU, Sunday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m., Jimmy Powell Tennis Center

• Elon’s match against Gardner-Webb on Sunday was cancelled due to rain. The doubles portion of the match was completed before the rain halted the match during singles play.

• The Phoeinx is at home for two of its three matches this week, including against VCU on Sunday as part of a men’s and women’s doubleheader at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

Softball (4-6)

• The Phoenix has a road contest at Campbell on Wednesday before hosting its first tournament of the season, the Elon Phoenix Tournament, this weekend, Feb. 27-28, with North Carolina A&T and Fairleigh Dickinson coming to Hunt Softball Park.

• Elon played at the Citrus Classic in Orlando, Fla., last weekend. The Phoenix picked up a 4-3 win versus Stephen F. Austin last Friday, Feb. 19, and held No. 1 Florida to its lowest run total all season in a 3-1 setback to the Gators on Saturday, Feb. 20.

• Sophomore Kara Shutt was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week last Tuesday, Feb. 16. The Greensboro, N.C., native batted .615 (8-for-13) over four games with six RBI, a pair of runs, two doubles and a triple. She went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a triple in the Elon’s 15-0 opening day win over Winthrop. She then added another three hits and two more RBI in the maroon and gold’s second victory over the Eagles and also went a combined 2-for-5 with two doubles in Elon’s two games versus host and 12th-ranked Georgia.

Women’s Basketball (16-10, 9-6 CAA)

Elon vs. Delaware, Friday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym

Elon at James Madison, Sunday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m., Harrisonburg, Va.

• Elon went 1-1 last week, claiming a 54-38 win at College of Charleston on Friday before falling, 54-47, to Drexel on Sunday.

• Both Autumn Carter and Shay Burnett tallied double-doubles last week. Carter scored 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for the first of her career against the Cougars, while Burnett posted her seventh of the season after 15 points and 13 boards against the Dragons.

• Friday’s home game against Delaware marks the final home game of the season and Senior Night for the program’s five seniors – Autumn Carter, Jessica Farmer, Lauren Hudson, Josepha Mbouma and Nicole Razor.

Women’s Golf

Kiawah Island Intercollegiate, Sunday – Tuesday, Feb. 28 – March 1, Kiawah, S.C.

• Heather Munro finished sixth overall individually as the Phoenix took third place in the FGCU Eagles Invitational, Feb. 12 – 14, at Stoneybrook Golf Club.

• Since the start of the fall season, Elon has earned a top-three finish in four of its five tournaments.

• The Phoenix returns to the links, Feb. 28 – March 1, at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. The tournament will be hosted by College of Charleston at the Kiawah Island Osprey Point Golf Club.

Women’s Lacrosse (3-0)

Elon at No. 5 Duke, Thursday, Feb. 25, at 4 p.m., Durham, N.C.

• The Phoenix remains undefeated on the season after a 5-4 comeback victory at Coastal Carolina last week in its first road test of the season.

• Sloane Kessler netted three scores in the game, including the goal to tie the game and the game winner. The junior leads the team with 10 goals and 13 points total on the season.

• Elon continues a three-game road swing at No. 5 Duke on Thursday. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 2-0, taking a 17-8 win in Rhodes Stadium last year.

Women’s Tennis (1-7)

Elon vs. UNCG, Thursday, Feb. 25, at 2:30 p.m., Jimmy Powell Tennis Center

Elon vs. East Tennessee State, Sunday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m., Jimmy Powell Tennis Center

• The Phoenix dropped both matches last week with a heartbreaker against Florida Gulf Coast and in a shutout against No. 65 NC State.

• Elon faces UNCG in a rescheduled match that was postponed earlier this season due to weather.

• The maroon and gold returns home on Saturday against ETSU as part of a men’s and women’s doubleheader at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
