“We went out today the first round of the spring season looking to accomplish just a few simple goals,” head coach Vici Pate Flesher. “To relax, enjoy the round and not make mental mistakes. Instead we came out tight with high expectations. We made a lot of mental mistakes early. I feel like tomorrow will be a much better day and perhaps just all the built up tension leading up to today’s round will be gone.”

Junior Danielle Fuss led the squad with a score of 79 (+7) after one round of play and currently sits in 35th place. The Rochester, N.Y. native recorded 9 pars and a birdie thru 18 holes.
