NW Guilford will have the most talented team in the area this year. We are loaded with senior talent across the board and we will Beat Northern and East Forsyth this year! Hennigan and Turner will lead the way on Offense and Tyler and Miller will lead the way on Defense. This will be the best team NW Fans have ever seen you’re in for a treat!
NW will have 3/D-1 receivers with Hennigan, Turner, and Cloud. Then you add Kyle Finnie, Jake Smith, and a few other guys we have flying under the radar it will make for an exciting team to watch. I see us moving Hennigan all over the place like last year and wouldn’t be surprised if you even see him take more snaps at QB this year too. Go Vikings!
Who is the QB at NW? Does NW have any D1 level linemen, running backs or defensive players? I have never seen NW play but appears they have some real talent. I remember reading last year that they could not score enough to beat the better teams. Was that due to the lack of a quality level QB or running back?
I have to disagree with the best team in the area. Dudley will have the best team in the area. They already have four players with division 1 offers. And three more with Division 1aa offers. They will have a great secondary with all over 6’2. A strong LB core and a quick dl. And on offense they have 3 OL that already have football offers. And a QB that just commit to VT. And a 1 to 2 punch with two good RB.
So I am guess NW does not have D1 level players at many of the other skill positions such as QB, RB, linemen or on defense. Are Turner and Henningan just a flash in the pan or does NW normally produce this type of talent? It seems as if Northern, Page and Dudley do this routinely and other schools may have 1 here and thereI am just wondering what has changed if anything at NW that may be producing players at this level compared to the past.
This will be the most talented football team to ever take the field at NW. They have never had this many D1 players. Even back when Woodruff had them in the 3rd rd of the Playoffs they only had a couple division 2 type players.
They have a great squad for sure but Page and East Forsyth is just as loaded as Dudley. Page will be closer to a NW Guilford and Dudley will be more like EF. East has 4 or 5 Power 5 Conference kids on their team so don’t go crowning NW just yet.
I’ve seen the kid play and he’s a great High School player but against good teams with equally as talented players like Northern he was just Good. Other than a couple kick returns he really didn’t do much against Northern. CJ on the other hand took over the game and you could see he was a Big Time D-1 talent. I wonder what position he’ll play in College? I’m also hearing NW fans talk about how they’ll finally beat us this year. You better hope so or it will never happen. GO DIRTY BIRDS!!!
Rumors are going around that #7 Thomas Hennigan is making a move to QB this year for the Vikings and they’re changing their offense up to feature him more. Is there any truth to this?
