Tracking some of those High School Baseball Stats/Numbers

Just getting off and running and running down those high school baseball stats and at MaxPreps.com some teams have their stats posted, quite a few don’t and many of the teams do not have updated stats available…

We did find some stats and the ones we found look pretty good…Hoping other teams will send their numbers our way and we can keep a running total on how the top players are doing, as we head toward the playoffs…

Coaches send us some of your totals/stats to andy@greensborosports.com and then we can update this list….

Tracked down the top two or three players from the stats we could locate at MaxPreps…

Camden Williamson(Dudley HS) .618 going 34-55 at the plate…10 Doubles…

Travis Hunt(Eastern Guilford HS) .312/5 Doubles…26 runs scored…

Home Runs:
We have Carter Williams(Northeast Guilford HS) with at least 4 HR and Devan Bartley(Southeast Guilford HS) has to be right at 4 HR’s as well…
Luke Robinson(Eastern Guilford HS) 4 HR’s
Camden Williamson(Dudley HS) 3 HR’s
Ryan Winther(High Point Andrews HS) 3 HR’s

RBI/Runs Batted In:

Pitching:
Got to get some more teams in here, but the three pitchers we have listed have had very solid seasons….
Kyle Blendinger(Southwest Guilford HS) (8-1)/1 Save/47 2/3’s Innings/16 BB’s/75 K’s/.587 ERA
Andrew Robinson(Eastern Guilford HS) (7-1)/81 K’s/13 BB’s
Jacob Edwards(Southwest Guilford HS) (6-1)/36 Innings/25 BB’s/50 K’s/1.16 ERA
Josh Pike(Northern Guilford HS) (6-2)/0.85 ERA/49 1/3 Innings
Cameron Cotter(Northern Guilford HS) (4-2)/2 Saves/1.58 ERA/44 1/3 Innings
JC Ouzts(Northern Guilford HS) (3-2)/1.56 ERA/36 Innings….
Sean McIntosh(Southwest Guilford HS) (1-1) 28 2/3’s Innings/7 BB’s/26 K’s/

I still have a feeling that right now the best overall starting pitching staff in the county would be at Southeast Guilford HS when the have Chris Schiebley healthy to go along with Thorne Alley, Jalen Guy and maybe their most steady arm in recent games, Austin Coble…We hope to get some more pitching numbers in here, but you to admit, that three-man rotation at NG is a real good one and they are all juniors….
Kyle Blendinger(Southwest Guilford HS) has been one of the top arms/pitchers around this year and we could use some numbers on this young man too and all of the others we can get…..

  1. Pitching at HPCA not to shabby either.
    Brody Lawson (UNCW)
    Josh Nifong (Duke)
    Luke Gesell (UNCW
    Dylan Wilkinson (USC Upstate)
3 of the 4 pitching 90+- Gesell has topped out at 93.

  2. @ Willis – not sure what u mean by that other than where they would go to public school. Just for your information 2 of the 4 are lifers at the school means since Kindergarten , 1 has been there 3 years and 1 is their first year, thanks for your concern.

@ Gypsie – u make no sense. The JV team is a JV team for a reason. That has nothing to do with their varsity. So I’m missing your point. Just FYI , a handful of those kids are 7th and 8th graders.
Let us know when you have some intelligent questions ! The SE JV played but the Varsity wouldn’t schedule a game with them. Guess they only schedule games they know they can win.

  3. @ Gypsie Mike

What’s with the “smacked” comment? These are children your speaking about. So really, you just want to “smack” teams as you put it vs playing tough teams? I don’t have any negative comments about your schedule because the schedule is what it is. You or I don’t make the schedule or do you? All conferences have some weak teams in them and you just have to play them. Please chill out on the “smacking” of kids.

  4. I’m working pretty hard collecting and putting these numbers up here so you guys hang it up with the garbage talk and stick to the stats/numbers…

  5. I’ve been reading a lot of these post this year and for some reason every time I see the fans from HP post things about there team and players this guy Gypsie Mike has something negative to say. There both good teams. Be proud of your team and not bash the other one. @ Mike if your jealous (which sounds like u r) of these private schools then don’t play them and don’t worry about what there doing . Only way to settle it is for the 2 teams to play. From the sound of it HP has tried to play SE but it has t happened. Both parties cheer for your team and if u don’t have anything good to say about the opposing team don’t say it. Last thing if u r so worried about what private school team are doing then maybe u should send your son to one and then u will see what it’s all about. Last time I looked it’s a choice where u want to go to school outside of public schools and so be it if a kid chooses a private school. If there parents can afford great – don’t concern your self with things u have no experience with. Keep it clean Mike!
