  1. Who is this Strickland kid? Little confused as to why we haven’t saw more of him. Looks as if coach would see this kid seems to be doing very well when allowed to pitch..Maybe coach will use this Strickland kid in the states….Hope we see more of this new pitcher kid.

  2. Wes has emerged as one of our top arms this year. I hope to see him pitch in several more games this year. Noah has also pitched well as so has several others. Noah has been playing very well for us at 1st base this year also. Nobody is perfect and makes all the plays, throws all the strikes or gets a hit every time. Overall I think we have a pretty good ‘team’. Noah will graduate this year so I’m assuming the unemployment rate will go down. Because you anonymous baseball fans will have to get a job to pass the time since they’ll be no more bashing to be done.

  3. WOW..EC certainly put it best — why would you bash a kid or kids on a message board who have played very well(not perfect) this year? I have seen SG several times this year and they have a solid team. Try speaking with the coaching staff because the players don’t make out the lineup and you make all of us who are true fans look bad.

  4. To answer your initial question, the Strickland kid is a pitcher/infielder for the Southern Guilford baseball team. After seeing your initial post calling out a particular player, it seems as though you have a personal vendetta against a 17 year old kid, get a life. MAYBE coach will use this kid during the State Playoffs, but MAYBE not. Just be happy the Strickland kid, who I’m sure is of no relation to you, is a part of a special baseball season for this Southern Guilford team.

  5. Folks, let’s get our focus back on the field and on Ledford for Friday…The Panthers have a very tough team and time to go get them…
