Most teams are playing today. You can wait till Wednesday, but if you win today you have the extra day to get ready for your next game on Friday…Get games in a day early and if you get rained out extra day too, to use on Wednesday…

A lot of triad teams played today because of the high threat of rain tomorrow. Friday’s forecast looks a lot like Wednesday’s. Mother Nature is undefeated and has just started showing up late in spring sports. Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs!

Baseball will be home Wednesday (5/11) @ 6pm vs Jack Britt.
Some teams like to wait an extra day to get ready for Round One and I would rather go ahead and get have the extra day to get ready for Round Two on Friday…That is just me and my bunch/hunch, but we will probably see other games moved to Wednesday and then what if you get rained out on Wednesday and have to play on Thursday and then would have to again on Friday if you won Round One on Thursday and with that you would be looking at playing on Saturday if you won on Thursday, because you don’t want to be playing back-to-back games if you can avoid it any time you play on Saturday it is bad news….Saturday =’s Non-School day and all of your key routines are messed up then when you are forced to play on Saturdays…Saturday is a terrible day to play….Everything goes wrong if you don’t look out, because you are out of your regular daily high school routine and regular Monday-Friday daily schedule….

Southwest advances to the second round after a great performance against page
Nope, no upset tonight. Southeast wins 6-3. Jarrett Alexander smashed a nice 2-run shot over right-center. Great crowd, great game.
Eastern Guilford is not playing until Wednesday at Chapel Hill.
HPCA will play Cannon school in 2nd round. Cannon beat Metrolina tonight. Game day and time has not been determined yet. Options are Friday or Saturday.
Just knew S.Mecklenburg had a good team that could bite if not ready. Should be fun SE vs SW!
