1st inning seen Concord go up 2-0 on no hits and 2 hit batters and 2 Red Wing errors but that would be all. Thorn Alley (Southeast Guilford) got the start and started out slow but settled in after the first inning. Post 53 could not push any runs across in the bottom half after Forrest Brothers single and Andrew Robinson’s walk. 0-2
2nd inning Alley would get the first 2 outs then a couple hits before getting the 3rd out at home. In the bottom half Noah Marley would get on by error and Dillon Bowman would get a walk then Gavin Taylor would reach on an error before Brothers would get an RBI single. 1-2
3rd inning Thorn Alley would give up a leadoff single but retire the next 3 in order. The bottom half we would not score after getting Jay Zarate on with a single and an error for Bryce Mericka. 1-2
4th inning Austin Coble (Southeast Guilford) what relieve Alley and give up a leadoff single and walk before getting a double play to end any threat. Nothing going for Red Wings other than a double off the left field wall for Gavin Taylor. 1-2
5th inning Coble would only allow 1 runner on a hit by pitch. Andrew would leadoff and lay down a bunt that the catcher threw into right field allowing Robinson to get to 3rd. Luke Robinson would drive him home on a single to tie the game. 2-2
6th inning Coble would retire them in order. Post 53 would take the lead after Brothers would get a 2 out single then Andrew Robinson would drive him home on a double. Zarate and L Robinson would get walks but couldn’t get another 2 out hit to bring them home. 3-2
7th inning Travis Hunt (Eastern Guilford) would come in to pitch. Hunt just as Coble did the previous inning retires Concord in order. The Red Wings would separate with 3 more runs when Tony Deluna (Rockingham) would get a leadoff walk then Christian Rodriquez (Southeast Guilford) would line one off the pitcher but the pitcher would throw it away allowing Deluna to move to third base. Caleb Smith would sacrifice Rodriquez to second. Gavin Taylor would deliver a 2 run single. After another out Andrew Robinson delivers another double to drive in Taylor. 6-2
8th inning sees Concord go in order yet again. Nothing going for Red Wings either other than a single from Bryce Mericka. 6-2
9th inning Concord gets a leadoff single but nothing after that and the Red Wings win 6-2
