  1. How does second place Glenn get 7 (6 + Player of the Year) and champion NWG get 6 (5 + Pitcher of the Year)…I was always under the ASSUMPTION (and I may be wrong)…that a league champion gets one more or at least the same number of honorees as the leagues runner up?

  2. Good question and I was wondering how Glenn got the POY, I would have thought that NWG at #1 and Unbeaten in the conference would have received that award too..

Just wondering, I was looking for clean sweep from NWG, but did not see it..

  3. Andy – I’m with you! But I think it is “marketing” – Coach (now former Coach) at Glenn has always done a good job of that for his players.

  4. I guess if the Glenn coach is that convincing, you have to just say more power to him…Do these All-Conference selections ever get political??? A friend of mine just fell off the turnip truck this morning and he was wondering….

Bottom line though like Mr. Austin/Williams used to say on Monday nights, what we have today, “That’s the Bottom Line” and more power to kids and Congrats to all of them today that were selected and honored…

  5. Well said, Andy! By the way, tell your friend that of course politics NEVER come into play in these types of things!!
