Kernersville Bulldogs swept a doubleheader from the North Wake Fungo 6-3 and 6-0 Sat night at Glenn High School in Carolina Virgina Collegiate League action.
In game one Randy Norris had a 3-4 night with a homerun. Jacob Nester and Ryan Stanley had 2 rbi doubles to power the offense. Dillon Hardy picked up the win and Marcello Betances recorded the save.
In game two Jake Mayhew hurled six innings of 3 hit shutout baseball to record the win. Michael Garvey with a double and triple and Ryan Stanley with a triple and Randy Norris with 2 rbis paced the offense.
Kernersville moved to 19 wins on the summer and travel to Lenoir, NC for a doubleheader at 2 pm on Sunday.
