High Point Post 87 HiToms got the win thanks in large part to Stanley’s dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Stanley allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over eight innings.
High Point Post 87 HiToms beat Winston-Salem thanks to 17 hits, including four extra base hits. High Point Post 87 HiToms scored three runs in the seventh on High Point Post 87 HiToms scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Steve Guy and a two-run single by Luke Spiva.
Luke Spiva racked up five RBIs on three hits for High Point Post 87 HiToms.
Kent took the loss for Winston-Salem. He allowed 10 runs in eight innings, walked one and struck out six.
High Point Post 87 HiToms stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring one run on an RBI single by Dylan Wilkinson.
After posting two runs in the second, High Point Post 87 HiToms again scored two in the fifth. In the second, High Point Post 87 HiToms scored on an RBI single by Luke Spiva, scoring Patrick Callaghan.
High Point Post 87 HiToms scored one run in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the eighth. In the fourth, High Point Post 87 HiToms scored on an RBI single by Kip Brandenburg, bringing home Nick Goard.
