Chris Scheibly(Southeast Guilford HS) has committed to pitch and play college baseball at Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina

Chris Scheibly(Southeast Guilford HS), Class of Falcons 2017, has committed to pitch and play college baseball at Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina…..Scheibly, a right handed pitcher had a very solid season for Southeast Guilford in 2016 and here is just one example of how Scheibly was in charge and in control on the hill/mound….
March 8, 2016
Southeast Guilford 5, Ragsdale 0
WP: 2-0. Chris Scheibly 6 innings 14 K’s 3 hits 0 runs

Scheibly pitched last Summer(2016) for Dale Moser’s Post 53 Greensboro Red Wings team in American Legion Baseball battles around the Triad….
On May 22, 2016, the Post 53 Greensboro Red Wings defeated Kannapolis 7-3 in 10 Innings:
5th inning Post 53 would get 2 two out singles from Brothers and Andrew Robinson but couldn’t score them. Chris Scheibly (Southeast Guilford) would come in to pitch for the Red Wings and would retire the side with 3 straight strikeouts.

Scheibly has proven time and again he can go and he can throw and the next thing you know he will be going on to college or looking to go pro…This kid has been hurt/injured a few times, but each time Scheibly is gone and he is on the mend, the next time you look around, Scheibly is up and rolling again…

Chris Scheibly(Southeast Guilford High School), a future baseball team member for the Limestone College Saints….

  1. Leadership at it’s finest. My son Ryan was a freshman last year on JV and Chris went down to injury. They pulled Ryan up and Chris took him under his wing. Ryan had no license and Chris would get him to workouts and home, he would even take Ryan to his house and Chris’ mom would take care of Ryan. ( The boy can eat a lot !)Ryan could be put in some pressure situations on the mound and Chris and Austin McDade would coach him up. Really the whole team would, but I am very proud of Chris and know he will do well.

  2. Your son is a stud. Looking forward to the baseball season. Congrats to Chris, another stud!

  3. He took a beating last night on the football field against Page. Hopefully it is growing pains to get better. They say it builds character !

  4. I pitched and played QB as a Freshman( varsity) at SE. He will be just fine. Every aspect of life builds character… Best wishes moving forward!
