Middle School Football Games for Today with scores starting to come in/matriculate in:SEG has gone home Tonight at (5-0)/Allen Jay All-Stars are (4-0)/SWG Cowboys round up their record to (5-0)

*****Let’s see how many scores we can get in here today and that way we don’t have to call the schools searching/looking for scores tomorrow….*****
+++++Let’s knock these games out one at a time and here we go and send us your results and we say thanks in advance and this almost like going door-to-door trick or treating….We are knocking on the door and can you give us a score/treat???+++++

Penn-Griffin did defeat Ferndale, but the score was not available at the Main Office….Penn-Griffin School for the Arts now with just one loss on the 2016 season….
Aycock Middle School at Guilford Middle School…Guilford wins by Forfeit…Aycock had problems with transportation and getting their players to the game….
Northern Guilford Middle School 15, Kernodle Middle School 14
Southwest Guilford 40, Bishop McGuinness 0
SWG now at (5-0) and the Cowboys will visit the Jamestown Tigers at Ragsdale HS next Wednesday, October 26 at 5pm…..
Allen Jay Middle School 20, Lincoln Middle School 12
Game played at the Gary Meredith Stadium at AJ many can still remember when Gary Meredith was a RB for the Allen Jay Jaybirds along with the Younts boys(Tommy and others) back in the day, but now Allen Jay is the Allen Jay All-Stars and the All-Stars are (4-0)…Another big name from the Allen Jay past is Gary Thayer….Thayer was there and he didn’t care what was going on….He came to win….
Northeast Guilford Middle School 8, Kiser Middle School 6
NEG-Kiser game played at Bill Bookout Stadium at NEG High School
Allen Middle School 52, Jackson Middle School 18
Not sure where they played this one….Coach Holder would know…
Mendenhall Middle School 8, Southern Guilford Middle School 7
Game was played at Southern Guilford Middle School
Final from RL Billings Stadium out at Northwest Guilford High School, home of the NWG Vikings:
Northwest Guilford Middle School 12, Jamestown Middle School 6
Final from Bill Slayton Stadium at Southeast Guilford High School:
Southeast Guilford 30, Eastern Guilford 14
SEG now at (5-0) and they along with Southwest Guilford look to be the teams to beat right now in Guilford County and are we right for saying this? Is this a valid statement, that SEG and SWG are the teams to beat, or do we have others that should be in this same conversation???

From Monday/yesterday:
Hairston @ Welborn

  1. Congratulations to the Allen Vikings on their first win of the season. They downed Jackson 52 – 18.

Commenting on the game, coach Ben Holder said. “We won.”

  2. You may want to put Allen Jay in the mix of one of the best teams in Guilford County. Up 20-0 on Lincoln heading into fourth they put in their 2nd offense and D. Ended up 20-12. Allen Jay is 4-0 in their conference and has some real special athletes. They are now called the All-Stars not Jaybirds and yes they play at Gary Meredith Stadium behind the school

  3. SW guliford posted another shoutout as they won 40-0 against bishop That defense is scary!! SW first team offense posted 20 points in the first quarter 2 passing touchdowns from QB #5 Devin Flowers and 1 rushing. Jaxon ruaber had a very exciting catch to start the game.. and Flowers found #2 caleb curtian for a touchdown after he caught the short pass and left Bishops defense in his shadow. Southwest had their 2nd and 3rd team defense and offense after the 1st QTR
Come out oct 26 at Ragsdale to watch the highly anticipated rivalry between SW and Jamestown

  4. They had the early dismissal today with the schools closing at around 1:50pm and I have to feel that Jamestown did not want to go home, but that they were ready to go right to work on preparation for SWG and both teams know how BIG this game will be…

Jamestown was none too happy when they walked off of that field on Tuesday evening after that 12-6 loss at NWG….They were very unhappy campers and they might have been facing day camp and night camp at practice today…

Here’s hoping Coach Bell from over at Kernodle will see this post and get us that score from the Kernodle Cougars’ game on Tuesday and those other scores would like real nice sitting up here at this Middle School Football post too..

Thanks to all of you that have sent in scores already and it makes for a good stop along the internet/information superhighway when you can pull over and get the scores from your favorite teams and games….

  5. Northern MS – 15
    Kernodle MS – 14

Game winning drive led by #2 Will Lenard, #33 Jordan McInnis, #5 Tyler Hoff, and last but not least the OL for punching a game tying TD with 33 secs left (#33). One of the more exciting MS games I have seen. Great Job to to both teams.
