Elon Men’s Golf Releases 2017 Spring Slate

ELON, N.C. – Elon University men’s golf coach Don Hill has announced a spring slate of six spring tournaments for his Phoenix squad, which includes the CAA Men’s Golf Championships.

The maroon and gold compete in five different states throughout the spring season. The events will take place in Arizona, North Carolina, Florida, Maryland and South Carolina.

The Phoenix will open its spring season at the Loyola Intercollegiate hosted by Loyola University (Md.) in Phoenix, Ariz., Feb. 25-27, at the Palm Valley Golf Club.

Elon’s next event will be the Pinehurst Intercollegiate hosted by the Pinehurst Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C. on March 10-12. Later in the month, the Phoenix will head to Florida to compete in the Mission Inn Spectacular, hosted by George Mason. Elon closes out the month to compete in the Towson Invitational, March 25-26, in Graniteville, Md., with the first two rounds of 36 holes being played on day one and the final 18 on day two.

In the month of April, Elon will take part in two tournaments. On April 7-9, the maroon and gold will travel to the The Cliffs at Keowee Falls golf course in Sunset, S.C., for the Clemson Invitational hosted by the University of Clemson.

Elon will wrap up the month of April for its third appearance in the CAA Championships. That event will be held April 21-23 at the Salisbury Country Club in Midlothian, Va.
