The Villains conquered the mountainous feat of handling 7’2″ Liberty University signee, Brendan Newton. The D1 center started off strong from the tip. Terrorizing the Villains on both ends of the floor. After a quick adjustment, Bishop settled down and began to get out on the break. CJ Cappuccio led all scorers with 36 points. Ryan Moon added 14 and boosted the team with key defensive plays. David Molen was a spark off the bench and aided, Bishop center Jake Babcock, in defending Newton. A vital, non-conference game turns out to be a huge all around team win for the Villains. Northwest 1A conference action kicks back up Friday night Kernersville as Bishop plays host to Atkins High School. Tipoff is slated for 8:00 PM.
