Could see JC/John Clark Ouzts or Josh Pike for Northern and the Nighthawks have a conference game on Friday, while Cameron Cotter worked for the Nighthawks back on Tuesday vs. Western Alamance….If you get a chance to see Northern check them out this year, they have a chance to go a long way this season and Grimsley is off to a good start too at (2-1) and NG sits at (3-0)….If you were doing the early rankings, you would have to have Northern up at #1 with that three-man pitching staff they have, plus Southwest Guilford at #2 and Southeast Guilford at #3…Those are your three top teams in the area with NG, SWG and SEG and we shall see how the rest of our teams start stacking up…..Ouzts, Pike, Cotter, Edwards, Blendinger, Guy, Douglas, Alley, just some of the key pitching names that you will see and hear about this season…..Should be warm today/tonight for this time of year and that should help the pitching…We have also been hearing a lot about the C.J. Neese kid from Grimsley….
