In baseball, fourth-seeded Wheatmore was supposed to host fifth-seeded Providence Grove in the opening round Monday, while third-seeded Trinity was to host sixth-seeded High Point Andrews.

Instead, the Wheatmore Warriors and Trinity Bulldogs automatically move into Tuesday’s semifinals at Wheatmore High School with THS facing No. 2 Randleman at 4:30 p.m. and WHS facing No. 1 Eastern Randolph at 7 p.m.

The final is at WHS on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

In softball, No. 4 Wheatmore was scheduled to host No. 5 Trinity in Monday’s opening round, while No. 6 High Point Andrews was to travel to meet No. 3 Randleman.

Instead, the Randleman Tigers and Wheatmore Warriors automatically move to Tuesday’s semifinals at Eastern Randolph High School with WHS facing No. 1 Providence Grove at 5 p.m. and RHS facing No. 2 Eastern Randolph at 7 p.m.
