The HiToms started off their CPL season with a sweet sweet victory. Riley Isenhour started on the mound for the HiToms and threw 3 innings of 1 hit baseball. He also gave up 1 walk but no runs came across to score.

Offensively, the HiToms got an unearned run in the 2nd inning off of two errors, one from the shortstop and one from the catcher.

The HiToms batted around the order in the 5th inning and scored 4 runs on 4 walks and 3 singles to make it 5-2.

Dylan Southerland, Matt Stanley, and Jason Goe pitched well from the 4th to the 7th inning. Jake Wyrick came in to shut the door and gave up no hits in the 8th and 9th inning for the six out save.

The final of the game was 5-2, the winning pitcher was Matt Stanley, the losing pitcher was Nick Rathke. Jake Wyrick earned the save.

The HiToms win their first game of CPL season and start off 1-0 after winning their first 3 exhibition games at Finch Field.

The HiToms travel to Lexington, SC tomorrow to face the Blowfish!
