Five of the six games involving teams in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools have been moved to Thursday night.

Games scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday are WS Atkins at Reagan, Winston-Salem Prep at WS Reynolds (at Deaton-Thompson Stadium), and WS Parkland at Walkertown. Games being played at 7:30 on Thursday night are Glenn at WS Carver and North Forsyth at East Forsyth.

^^^^^Are the Guilford County Middle Schools are already practicing football and when we can expect to see some of their games on Wednesday and when will we be hearing from the Guilford County Middle School football scene, and I think now with 6th graders eligible to play…..^^^^^
Has everybody paid their $45.00 fee to play for this year?????

  1. 6th graders are allowed to play all middle school sports except football. It looks like most of them are slated to start playing the week of 9/20.

  2. The football gods have blessed Guilford County. Page travels to Dudley tomorrow. If only I did not have to work….

  3. I’m with you that Ted Roe, I have to work tomorrow as well. But, the Hillside/Dudley game next week will be another good one to watch.

  5. “Eagles” are you sure that was JV or that the JV played Andrews??? Andrews doesn’t have a JV team this year.

  6. Might be one of those deals where Andrews had some late arrivals and was able to put together/field a JV team…

    Maybe Andrews got more interest once practice got going good….
