Briceno Named USA South Rookie of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Jordy Briceno was named USA South men’s soccer Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Briceno, a freshman forward from Cali, Colombia, tallied two goals as the Pride men posted a 1-1 record against USA South Athletic Conference competition last week.
In a 4-1 loss against N.C. Wesleyan, Briceno was held scoreless but quickly rebounded with two goals in Greensboro’s victory over the Monarchs of Methodist University Saturday.
