    End of 3: @GreensboroDay 48, Charlotte Vance 17. Noah Dunn with 9 that quarter on a pair of 3s and an old-school 3-point play. He’s got 11. #HSXtra

  2. Noah Dunn getting it done on offense for GDS, and the defense is playing “lights out”….Jeff Smith must have had a tough Thanksgiving Holiday and he is pushing his Bengal defense to the max today and I’m the entire coaching staff, Jeff S., Robert Johnson, and others, plus all of the Bengal players want to go ahead and get this one for Coach Freddy Johnson today….

Time for the Bengals to finish strong and start/continue the celebration when get back to Greensboro….

Also just saw today where former Bengal Reggie Dillard just scored his 1,000th career point for the Blue Hose of Presbyterian and good job, Reggie Dillard and congrats to him….

  5. Freddy Johnson is undoubtable the best coach in this area. Even when he does not have “great” players, he will find a way to win 80% of his games. His players play harder for him than any other coach that I can remember. He demands a level of personal excellence from his players that is unmatched. He develops lesser players into good players and good players into great players. What I like best about his teams is that he requires a commitment to hard work and shut down defense far more than your ability to score baskets. You will rarely see a 20 pt scorer at GDS yet his top 8-9 players will eventually play college basketball. College coaches want players that are prepared and Coach Johnson does it with the best of them. Greensboro is fortunate to have a coach this great stay in the same place for an entire generation of players.

  6. I think Freddy Johnson possibly has ten years of coaching left in him….What’s he going to do if he is not coaching basketball…This is what he has been called to do and why not go for/shoot for the max….

Wind him up and let him go, the man has ten good years to give and he loves what he is doing….Wind him up and let him go…..
