  1. Ridiculous score. I hope for the coaches sake he/she played all his/her players the rest of the game once it became apparent that the game was already determined. Probably at halftime. I hate it when things like this happen.

  2. The losing team could have decided not to play the game. If your team got beat 101 to 10, you knew before the game started that you would have a problem. Why should kids coming off the bench be penalized by not playing or running plays. It was not the winning teams fault that the other team was not prepared. I personal think kids can learn a lot from getting their butts hammer. It is a perfect time to teach kids how to keep fighting and never allow anyone to beat you like this again. A good coach will use it as a symbol to work harder and prepare yourself for future such events. This is how I have handled blow out games with my teams in the past. These games have made all of my players better and it give them a strong purpose to improve. If it does not, then you are playing the wrong game. Don’t play competitive games and keep scores if you can’t handle the results.

  3. Part of our thought process is, let’s be aware of this team, Hickory Ridge, we might see them down the road…

They faced Northern Guilford in the 3-A Finals for the girls last year and one of our 4-A girls teams might see them in the 4-A West Regionals…

We have been warned and let’s be ready, just in case, we see Hickory Ridge this year in the playoffs…

Don’t be afraid, just be forewarned that they would pose a problem….
