Grimsley’s QB Alonza Barnett III has gone 82-124 passing for 1,145 yards passing, good on 66.1% of his passes and good for 16 TD’s and just one interception….Barnett 190.8 yards passing per game…Grimsley RB Jeiel Melton has rushed for 519 yards on 96 carries and has 5 TD’s….QB Barnett had 352 yards rushing on 42 carries and he has 5 rushing TD’s…Antoine Shaw with 115 yards rushing on 29 carries and 1 TD…Grimsley’s Lawson Albright with 18 receptions, good for 302 yards and 2 TD’s…Anthony Dunkins with 16 receptions for 243 yards and 6 TD’s…Christian Tutuh with 18 receptions for 224 yards and 5 TD’s…Tyson Resper with 17 receptions for 214 yards and 2 TD’s….East Forsyth’s QB Jaylen Alexander-Raynor has gone 32-84 passing for 302 yards and he has 5 TD’s/2 INT’s….East RB JeMon Smith with 800 yards rushing on 100 carries and he has run for 6 TD’s….RB Lijaye Fisher with 25 carries for 215 yards and 1 TD…QB Alexander-Raynor with 178 yards rushing on 30 carries and 1 TD…East receiver Damon Stokes with 10 receptions for 156 yards and 4 TD’s….
Grimsley defeated East Forsyth 27-7 in the regular season, but East knocked off Grimsley twice by a couple of points back during the 2019 Fall season…Richard Fliehr/Ric Flair always said, “To be the Man, you have to Beat the Man” and East Forsyth still has the back-to-back NCHSAA 4-A Titles under their belt….Grimsley must knock East off their throne, and tonight would be the best night for the Grimsley Whirlies to do that…There is no better time than right now/tonight for Grimsley to turn that corner…East is still very potent on defense, but the EF Eagles offense is not what it used to be back in 2018-2019…East had a lot of kids leave early for college back in January of this year/2021…Now is the time for Grimsley to get theirs…You can hear this game tonight on GreensboroSports Radio….Pregame at 7pm and then the kickoff comes flying into the air at 7:30, at Jamieson Stadium, and it all can be heard on GreensboroSports Radio….We gave you five hours of football on the radio, last Friday night from Jamieson Stadium, and we will be back there again tonight, on GreensboroSports Radio…..Be sure to check us out, and we hope to also have scores for you, from the other games around our area/involving our area teams…

  1. Looking at all these names, man Swann middle used to be power house….Grimsley’s Sincere Burnett, Jeiel Melton, and Antione Shaw, Dudley’s Sterling Brewer and Ayden Gamble, Southern’s Taylor & Tyler Alston.
