I would say two of the top candidates this week would be Trevon Hester from Page High School on Offense and Decory Covington, from Southern Guilford HS, on defense….Now seeing high Defensive marks/numbers coming in from Austin Flippen(Northern Guilford High School)…. Trevon Hester with 27 carries for 242 yards rushing and three rushing touchdowns, plus a two-point conversion run, in the Page Pirates win over Northwest Guilford HS…Four total tackles for Hester on defense and one Tackle for a Loss…
DEFENSE
We might look at Grady Sherrill on defense for Page(1 Pass Deflections), but he also had 2 receptions for 33 yards and a TD catch, plus he had a big kickoff return for the Page Pirates, that set up a TD for the Pirates…Keep Sherrill in mind for offense and defense…
Jerron Blackwell, from Page, with 5 total tackles, including two solo tackles and a pass interception for Page vs. Northwest Guilford….Plus on offense, Blackwell was 2-2 passing for 35 yards and a TD pass, he had five carries for 19 yards, and 1 reception for 11 yards…
Elijah Davis, from Southeast Guilford HS with 12 carries for 44 yards, but he had four TD runs, on Friday night vs. Ragsdale…
Bryson Serrano, from Southeast Guilford HS, was 9-12 passing, for 190 yards and one TD/one INT., vs. Ragsdale…
Cameron Williams, from Southeast Guilford, with 4 receptions for 111 yards and one TD, vs. Ragsdale….
Jordan Farmer, from Southeast Guilford with 112 total yards, going for 20 yards rushing, 39 yards receiving, and 45 yards on Kick Returns, and a Fumble Recovery on defense….
DEFENSE
Camber Alcorn with seven total tackles on defense for Southeast Guilford, and he had five solo tackles…
Last Friday night for Grimsley you had QB Alonza Barnett III going 12-16 for 209 yards and four TD passes/0 interceptions…For the season Barnett is 89-149 passing, for 1,497 yards with 19 TD passes and zero/0 interceptions…I think that might be one of the biggest stories around here this season…All those yards and all of those TD passes, and yet still NO interceptions…All 280 rushing yards for Barnett this fall season, and four more TD’s on the ground…
Terrell Anderson for Grimsley, with 5 receptions for 79 yards and two TD’s vs. Western Guilford…
Alex Taylor with four receptions for 89 yards and one TD catch for Grimsley, vs. Western Guilford…

Tamorye Thompson, from Grimsley, with 5 total tackles, three QB Sacks, three QB Hurries, four Tackles for a Loss, and a caused Fumble, in the Grimsley win over Western Guilford HS….
