Who will it be this week??? You can see the previous Winners in the list below, and now it is time to find two brand new Winners of the Steak n Shake Players of the Week Award…
I would say two of the top candidates this week would be Trevon Hester from Page High School on Offense and Decory Covington, from Southern Guilford HS, on defense….Now seeing high Defensive marks/numbers coming in from Austin Flippen(Northern Guilford High School)…. OFFENSE
Trevon Hester with 27 carries for 242 yards rushing and three rushing touchdowns, plus a two-point conversion run, in the Page Pirates win over Northwest Guilford HS…Four total tackles for Hester on defense and one Tackle for a Loss…
DEFENSE
We might look at Grady Sherrill on defense for Page(1 Pass Deflections), but he also had 2 receptions for 33 yards and a TD catch, plus he had a big kickoff return for the Page Pirates, that set up a TD for the Pirates…Keep Sherrill in mind for offense and defense…
Jerron Blackwell, from Page, with 5 total tackles, including two solo tackles and a pass interception for Page vs. Northwest Guilford….Plus on offense, Blackwell was 2-2 passing for 35 yards and a TD pass, he had five carries for 19 yards, and 1 reception for 11 yards…

Elijah Davis, from Southeast Guilford HS with 12 carries for 44 yards, but he had four TD runs, on Friday night vs. Ragsdale…
Bryson Serrano, from Southeast Guilford HS, was 9-12 passing, for 190 yards and one TD/one INT., vs. Ragsdale…
Cameron Williams, from Southeast Guilford, with 4 receptions for 111 yards and one TD, vs. Ragsdale….
Jordan Farmer, from Southeast Guilford with 112 total yards, going for 20 yards rushing, 39 yards receiving, and 45 yards on Kick Returns, and a Fumble Recovery on defense….
DEFENSE
Camber Alcorn with seven total tackles on defense for Southeast Guilford, and he had five solo tackles…

Last Friday night for Grimsley you had QB Alonza Barnett III going 12-16 for 209 yards and four TD passes/0 interceptions…For the season Barnett is 89-149 passing, for 1,497 yards with 19 TD passes and zero/0 interceptions…I think that might be one of the biggest stories around here this season…All those yards and all of those TD passes, and yet still NO interceptions…All 280 rushing yards for Barnett this fall season, and four more TD’s on the ground…
Terrell Anderson for Grimsley, with 5 receptions for 79 yards and two TD’s vs. Western Guilford…
Alex Taylor with four receptions for 89 yards and one TD catch for Grimsley, vs. Western Guilford…
DEFENSE
Tamorye Thompson, from Grimsley, with 5 total tackles, three QB Sacks, three QB Hurries, four Tackles for a Loss, and a caused Fumble, in the Grimsley win over Western Guilford HS….

from Dudley HS:
QB Jahmier Slade 8-11 passing for 121 yards and three TD’s vs. Smith…Slade ran the ball 4 times for 32 yards vs. Smith…
Dudley’s Michael Shaw goes for 82 yards on 7 carries for 2 TD’s vs. Smith….Shaw with 2 receptions for 15 yards…
RJ Baker with 74 yards rushing, on five carries, and one TD vs. Smith…
Defense:
Jhyheem Pittman(Dudley HS) with six total tackles(Three Tackles for a Loss) vs. Smith with three QB Sacks, and 2 QB Hurries….
Logan Wright(Dudley HS) with 6 total tackles vs. Smith, and he had two Tackles for a Loss with one QB Sack, and two QB Hurries….

From Northern Guilford HS:
Jack Mercer with two TD passes for the Nighthawks….10-12 passing for 240 yards with 2 TD’s/2 INT’s…
Vance Bolyard with a fumble return for a touchdown for Northern Guilford…..
Austin Flippen with a fumble return for a touchdown for Northern Guilford…Flippen with 10 Total Tackles with 5 solos and 5 assists, plus he had three Tackles for a Loss, a QB Sack, the fumble recovery, and he caused a fumble…
Jordan McInnis with 18 carries for 101 yards and one TD run for the NG Nighthawks…
Manny Elliot with 5 receptions for 91 yards and one TD receiving, for NG….

QB Jamias Ferere was 7-16 passing for one TD, and he ran the ball 7 times for 44 yards, in a win for Southern Guilford vs. WS Atkins…161 total yards…
Rydell Herbin with 18 carries for 91 yards and one rushing TD, plus he had 2 receptions for 32 yards…..123 total yards…On defense, three Total Tackles for Herbin, vs. Atkins…
Decory Covington, from Southern Guilford HS, with 5 solo tackles and 5 assists for 10 Total Tackles, plus he had two Tackles for a Loss, and one QB Sack…Also one carry for six yards and two receptions for 14 yard vs. Atkins…
Denhym Johnson, from Southern Guilford, with four Total Tackles, and he had 1/2 a Sack and a Pass Deflection vs. Atkins….
