Steak n Shake High School Football Players of the Week from the 10/29/2021 Games:Check out the names, coming in from last Friday night’s games

Looking for our Steak n Shake Players of the Week, from last Friday’s October 29 games….Previous winners are not eligible to win this week, we are looking for some new names and winners, but next week, after the first round of the playoffs, it will be anybody’s game/week again….

There are a few names that are standing out here early on and those would be Alex Sarantos, on Offense from Northwest Guilford, and on Defense we are seeing Jaylan Richmond and Austin Lloyd from Dudley(Also looking at Braden McCall and Shawn Seagraves from the Dudley Panthers), Ronnie Crump and Ty’Wan Suggs from Smith, are setting the early pace…

QB Alonza Barnett 20-31 for 292 yards/3 TDs passing, plus 18 carries for 113 yards/2 TD’s…RB Jeiel Melton with 31 carries for 159 yards and a TD…Plus he had 3 receptions/62 yards/touchdown…WR Alex Taylor 9 receptions for 108 yards/TD…WR Terrell Anderson 4 receptions/93 yards/TD….These were the Grimsley Whirlies numbers vs. Northern Guilford HS…
Barnett III for the season going 146 of 230 passing, for 2,433 yards, with 31 TD’s and 3 INT’s…Completing 63.5% of his passes for 243.3 yards per game…582 yards rushing for Barnett on 82 carries, good for TD’s on the ground…..3,015 Total Yards and 41 TD’s total on the season….
Jeiel Melton with 1,196 rushing yards for the year, on 176 carries, with 13 rushing TD’s…For Melton 331 receiving yards on 19 receptions, with 1 TD….1,527 Total Yards for Melton, with 14 TD’s…
Terrell Anderson with 818 receiving yards on 44 receptions, good for 9 TD’s…Tyson Resper with 33 receptions for 485 yards and 10 TD’s…Alex Taylor with 30 receptions for 449 yards and 5 TD’s…Nolan Albright with 14 receptions for 257 yards and 5 TD’s…
Grimsley on defense last week vs. NG, you saw Antoine Shaw with 8 Total Tackles, and all 8 of those tackles, were Solo Tackles….
