State Wolfpack athletics, plus a highly successful Greensboro insurance agent, that was Fred Joseph…At Page, with the football team, I believe he worked with the kickers, and he was also active as a member of the Greensboro Sports Council…Fred Joseph, gone at age 92…..

Joseph, Fred Irving

November 18, 1929 – January 13, 2022

Greensboro—Fred Irving Joseph, 92, entered heaven January 13, 2022. He was born in Charlottesville, VA to the late Richard Irving and Bedder Ezzidene Joseph. Fred was the owner of Joseph Insurance Agency.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Robinson Joseph; two sons R. Scott Joseph (Beth), David Joseph (Cathy); two daughters Amy J. Shelton and Beth J. Bauer (Jason), & five grandchildren.

A celebration of Fred’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29 at W. Market St. United Methodist Church.

A gathering of friends and family will take place Friday, January 28, 2022 at Forbis and Dick Funeral Service N. Elm St. Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
