JACKSONVILLE, FL. – The High Point women’s golf team closed out their first meet of the 2022 spring campaign on Tuesday with 18 holes in the First Coast Classic at the Deerwood Country Club. Sarah Kahn kept her consistent play going into the final round today as she shot a 79, tied for 24th place.

Head Coach Alexis Bennett: “Goes without saying I’m extremely disappointed. First round was round was totally out of character for us, but we do have to find a way to better manage our scorecards when we don’t have our A games. Knocked quite a bit of rust off, for sure. I have plenty of belief in this group – this is just a starting point but they’re so coachable and quitting is never an option they even consider. So, for that, I’m always proud.”
