Two Pretty Good NCAA Basketball Games on WFMY TV 2/CBS on Thursday night:St. Peter’s and Murray State stir up the “Mad Marchness”

**********Nic McMullen, from Eastern Guilford and Smith High School, with 1 point on a free throw, he had 1 rebound, in 6 minutes of action for Murray State….Murray State vs. St. Peter’s on Saturday.**********

The term March Madness was coined many NCAA college basketball seasons ago, but we were able to bring into being the real MVP basketball postseason term of all-time, and we first put this phrase out there back in the early 90’s….

This is the time of the year that we call “Mad Marchness”….Who wants to follow all of the other guys around using their worn-out term, March Madness….Be creative, and come up with something different and more catchy, and we did just that when we created “Mad Marchness”….

Feel free to use it…Mad Marchness is the term that best describes this time of the college basketball season…

It was never more prevalent than it was last night there on Free TV for a change, as CBS and WFMY TV 2 gave us the St. Peter’s over Kentucky game, and that was followed by another strong one, in Murray past San Francisco…

Both games went into Overtime, and you had St. Peter’s as the #15 seed stopping the hated Kentucky Wildcats, who were the #2 seed…
Murray State was the higher seed, but the Racers as the #7 seed, had a real battle, before they overcame the #10 seeded Dons, of San Francisco…

Two excellent opening night games of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday night, and it is back….“Mad Marchness” is upon us…

Those fine finals again:
St. Peter’s 85, Kentucky 79…OT
Murray State 92, San Francisco 87…OT

  1. Yes, I am…..Thanks for dropping that in….I am thinking the same Nick McMullen that used to play for Eastern Guilford and then headed over to Smith, right….

I will seek this out and we will get a second chance since Murray State has advanced…

Thanks again for bringing that to my attention….Thanks, I needed that….
