The Little Girl running the 1,600 meters for Hairston was a show-stopper and show-stealer today…Quite a few people were talking about that Little Girl, as she was running for Hairston…..
She won the 1,600 Meter race and finished 4th in the 800 meters…That kid must have weighed maybe 50 pounds soaking wet, but she had a great race pace….Steady from start to finish, and she led from start to finish in the 1,600 meter run…
I told the Page HS sports med, Lindsay Braddock, before the meet, that small people like Kenya Gordon make good runners, and that being smaller, they have to carry less weight/baggage and therefore they are faster, and I was pointing to Kenya Gordon, when I made that statement to Lindsay Braddock…
Little did we know, what KG/”The Little Girl” would be up to, but I had this crazy premonition that, that little kid could run, and she proved she could today/Wednesday….
