High School Football Saturday Morning Rewind:The 2022 HS Football Season, don’t blink or you might miss it(Today, a look back, at the night before)

Three weeks of the 2022 high school football season in the books, and as the man said up there in the headlines, “Don’t blink, or you might miss it”…..Three weeks down, and in two more weeks/two more games, we will reach the halfway point of this season…WOW, this stuff is flying out of the kitchen quick, and the fans/people seem to be eating it up…So why not give them more…

So do you want more???

If so, here we go, with the Saturday Morning Rewind coming out of Week Three, from the 2022 High School Football Season…How do we keep on coming up with these themes each Saturday morning??? Our inspiration for this week’s Rewind will come from the book of Ruth, and I’m not talking about one of those half-eaten Baby Ruth bars, that you found under your pillow, when you woke up this morning….

We need to get woke, and go ahead and give her another poke…No, joke, the Rewind Is On, brothers and sisters….

Sort of a wild and crazy ending over at James B. Dudley High School last night, but we will get cued in on that one later on, in The Rewind….

First up we have the Friday Football Frenzy, with Kevin Connolly, Danny Harnden, and Clare Goodwin from WGHP FOX TV….
CLICK HERE for the Friday Football Frenzy highlights….

For our second feature, CLICK HERE for Joe Sirera, at the News and Record, and HSXtra.com, for Page at Mount Tabor, with Page’ coach Doug Robertson saying, “Page beat Page, on Friday night”…..

Next up I have a candidate for our next Steak n Shake offensive Player of the Week honors….Tanner Ballou with 5 TD passes(17-23/248 yards/1 INT) for the Northwest Guilford Vikings last night, with two of the TD tosses going to WR Trent Cloud(9 catch/114 yards), who I think will be at the Virginia game today, two TD passes for Ballou going to Bristol Carter(3 recetions/70 yards), and one went to Prince Brown…NWG RB Mike Godette with over 100(155) yards rushing(2 TD’s), and NWG rolls over Reynolds, 49-6, and we had several of those 49-6 finals last night…
(More stats from all of the teams/players coming up on Tuesday.)

While we are still close to the back burner, CLICK HERE for the FOX 8 report on the situation over at Dudley High School last night…

If it seems like we are jumping and moving all over the place, then that is the read we are feeling too, here this morning, on The Saturday Morning Rewind…Rewind, Rewind the Rewind, Rewind, Rewind the Rewind, and here we go again…

Rolling in here now we bring you the lovely, the beautiful Lauren Walsh, with her sidekick, the astute and energetic John Johnson, from WXII TV 12 Sports, and their High School Football Playbook from Friday night…
CLICK HERE and you are there….We need to give them a strong and fortuitous intro, since they are sort of outside of our local box, and situated more toward the Western Piedmont Triad, but we have them right here in the mix of a GOOD Saturday Morning Rewind stew/mush….

Now coming around the corner, we have GreensboroSports Radio 1, and this week we have the return of GreensboroSports Radio 2….GreensboroSports Radio 1, with Dennis White with us in the air chair, and GreensboroSports Radio 2, with Demetri Morrison on the call…Demetri with High Point Central at Southwest Guilford, and Dennis White painting the pictures for us, from Durham Hillside at Dudley…Hillside at Dudley good ballgame for the one half they gave us, and the Dudley offense was showing signs of life last night…And where is Dudley superfan Dennis Williamson??? Has anyone seen Dennis Williamson, lately???

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The annual non-conference rivalry game between the Dudley Panthers and Hillside Hornets was called at halftime due to an altercation outside the stadium.

With Hillside leading 15-8 at halftime, fans were asked to leave the stadium due to the incident. According to school officials, Hillside will receive the win for the contest.

A Greensboro police lieutenant told WXII that several fights broke out around the stadium. There was a large police response and minor injuries were reported.

The Hornets took a lead early as quarterback Wilson Kargbo Jr. used his mobility to buy some time before finding Gregory Lee open for a touchdown.

Dudley answered back in the second quarter as Andrew Attmore connected with R.J. Baker for a touchdown that got the Panthers within 7-6.

Late in the second quarter Kargbo found Duce Harris open on the sideline. Harris made multiple defenders miss and found his way into the end zone, and a two-point conversion put the Hornets up 15-8.
