Gas Prices in Greensboro sure are varying today:$3.15 per gallon on Battleground Ave./$3.49 per gallon on East Wendover Ave.

Might be about time to tighten up your walking or running shoes…Gas prices are in the process of going up, and currently the prices are really varying across the board, and almost across the street, in Greensboro…

Saw gas priced at $3.49 per gallon at two locations or more, out on East Wendover Avenue…They usually have the least expensive gas prices in town, on the East side, but not today…Gas was flowing at $3.15 per gallon on Battleground Avenue, and I saw at least one spot, and that one was on Lawndale Drive, and they had their gas priced, at $3.13 per gallon…

Lots of varying prices, and the Citgos down on the East side had it pumping at $3.49, there were some other locations on the East side, at $3.39, and at $3.29 per gallon, but it looks like everyone will be going up on their gas prices soon, due to OPEC coming out with new limitations of available barrels of gas, in the near future…

The Shell\Quality Mart on Battleground was still pumping fuel out today, at the $3.15 per gallon price, but how long do you think that will last??? When the next fuel truck rolls in, the gas prices will probably be rolling/going up to near that $3.49 mark, and we all thought we were in the clear, when it came to rising gas prices…

Would be nice to see the meter at $3.15 per gallon and dropping, but that does not look like that will be the plan…The Exxon on Lawndale, near The Clutch coffee drive-thru, has been locked in at $3.39 per gallon for gas, for the past two-to-three weeks…They used to lower the prices on the weekend, and then raise them back up, during the week…Now the Exxon, there on Lawndale, is locked in with that $3.39 per gallon gas…I gas/guess they were ahead of the curve, and knew the increase was coming, and they went ahead and set up shop, at $3.39, and are/were ready for the NEW PRICE JUMP……

There you have it, and we might not ever know, how low those gas prices would go, because we have seen them/the owners throw the switch, and they have switched the prices, and those gas prices are rising faster than a bag of ‘Martha White’s Self-Rising Flour’…

Good Luck on your next visit to “The Pump”……….
