Eastern Guilford was down 15-7, at halftime and the ‘Cats came back and knocked off the Southern Guilford Storm…That game was going 6-0 SG, 7-6 EG, 8-7 SG, then 15-7 SG at the half…EG got clicking in the second half and we will have more numbers and stats on this game down below, but for numbers sake, EG out-scored SG, 27-6, in the second half of this game to secure the victory…
Steven Murray, a true spark plug for the EG Wildcats…Punt return for a TD, a TD pass reception, he took a kickoff back for a TD, but the kickoff return for the TD, was called back to due an illegal block in the back, by the ‘Cats…Jaiden Evans ran for 198 yards for Eastern Guilford…Evans had a one-yard touchdown burst late in the Fourth Quarter, that locked up the win for EG over SG…Evans and Murray our Steak n Shake Offensive Players of the game…The EG Defense in the Second Half took home the Steak n Shake Defensive Player of the Game honors…Pretty sure Murray had a pick to go along with his two TD’s on offense….

Tanner Ballou threw for Seven(7) touchdown passes on Friday night for the Northwest Guilford Vikings… Ballou with three TD passes to Trent Cloud, and also three TD passes to Bristol Carter, and Ballou had one TD pass to NWG RB Mike Godette….Should put Ballou right at 28 TD passes on the season…Maybe Ballou becoming the Rusty Larue of 2022 for NWG, and when he(Ballou) is through, will he be headed for WFU??? Page looking very sharp on the Friday Football Frenzy highlights over on WGHP FOX 8 Sports….Paul Thompson and Maurice Andrews running hard, and Jerron Blackwell doing a great job of running the Pirate offense…Page held Northern Guilford to something like 13 points, and that shows the Page “D” is still working for them…
Dudley was destroying Rockingham County, 56-0, and Andrew Attmore II was connecting with Nasir Newkirk, Cordell Bartley, and Jailen Hicks for big gainers…Dudley is hitting their prime at the right time of the season…Dudley has yet to give up a single point this season in five games of Mid-State 3-A Conference play…
