Former Caldwell Academy student/athlete & alumni. Sophia Plasman, ( ’22 ) helped the Samford Bulldogs, a member of the
Southern Conference, Women’s Volleyball team qualify for the 2022 NCAA National Championship. The team finished
with a record of 19W–12L, won the conference with a record of 11W–5L & then the Conference Tournament,
by beating The Citadel 3–2,, Western Carolina 3–2 & Furman in the championship game 3–0.
