The Caldwell Academy Eagles came out like a house on fire, as they jumped out to early lead and never looked back…The running clock was on the roll to begin the second half…CA was shooting two’s, three’s, and dunks were falling down like the pouring rain…Jaylen Cross, the NWG transfer, hit for 12 points and all of those came in the first half, and all of his buckets, except for maybe one, were flushes…He was throwing it down with new-found authority tonight at Caldwell Academy…CA led by their head coach Brandon Clifford, and Vandalia had some veteran coaching experience on their bench, with the former All-MEAC guard Corvin Davis, among the Vandalia assistant coaches…Early in the contest all VCS could get on the scoreboard was a few free throws..Caldwell was not giving Vandalia any looks whatsoever…Caldwell is loaded and we will have more on their scoring coming up in a few…
