High School Football Stats and Numbers Lists, with Season Totals and Looking for another Round of Steak n Shake Players of the Week

**********Week Fifteen Winners:**********
Steak n Shake Offensive Player of the Game:Jackson Henry(Grimsley HS)
Steak n Shake Defensive Player of the Game:Bryce Davis/Jamaal Jarrett, both from (Grimsley HS)

See the season totals for our Stats and Numbers from our Guilford County Schools, and we are just a week or two away from beginning our Voting for our Steak n Shake Players of the Year…We have last week’s winners for the Steak n Shake Players of the Week, and it is now time to find our new Steak n Shake Players of the Week, and that would be for Week Fifteen, of the 2022 season…Vote for your favorites in the Comment Box at the bottom of this page, or send us your picks to andy@greensborosports.com….Some possible candidates for this week would include Jackson Henry from Grimsley HS, who kicked the game-winning field goal for the Whirlies, in their Triple Overtime victory over Hough last Friday night…Another candidate for the Whirlies would be their QB Ryan Stephens who played in the game, even though he was sick and still scored on two TD runs, he had a TD pass, and he ran for a two-point conversion, and he also passed for a two-point conversion…Not bad for a sick puppy…But, that’s not all, Jaiden Evans ran for a TD and he rushed for 148 yards in Eastern Guilford’s heart-breaking 28-25 loss, down at South Point High School…Evans was the heart and soul of the EG Wildcats offense throughout the 2022 playoffs, and he had another credible game, back on Friday night…Another Grimsley candidate on offense, while reviewing the stats would be RB Mitchell Summers, who had 175 yards on 22 carries, with two TD runs, and a long run of 71 yards for a touchdown…

On defense, for Grimsley, we noted Kahlil Stimpson for his stellar defensive efforts for the Whirlies throughout the entire Whirlie win over Hough…Fred Sellars was also very busy back in the Grimsley secondary, where he came up and made key tackles, and was in on some very big plays…Big Jamaal Jarrett played like a brick house during the very important Grimsley Whirlie goal-line stands vs. Hough in Overtime, and big #55 got it right, right there when the game was on the LINE…..Add in Grimsley’s Terrell Anderson as a defensive Player of the Game candidate…Also put in Bryce Davis as a defensive candidate for Grimsley…Big game for him, vs. Hough…As an overall player, very big game for Eastern Guilford’s Steven Murray, vs. South Point…Be sure to check out his numbers/stats, down below in the EG recap…Give a look to Eastern Guilford’s Tavion Bullock and Christopher Hendrix for their overall defensive efforts, vs. South Point…

It is your choice, do you go with the kicker, the QB, the RB, the LB, the DB, or the DL…Only time will tell, and you need to tell us what you are thinking, and let us know who, and what, are on your mind…Now is the time, bring us names for this week, and there are no restrictions on previous winners, the voting is wide-open for the playoffs, with previous Winners being right in the overall mix…Show us your picks, and we will see what sticks…Got to get them in before we have to turn this post over to Jolly Old St. Nicks, as in Nick Saban…I guess, but your guess is as good as anyone else’s so give us names, from last week’s games…
(On Grimsley’s kicker Jackson Henry, he is now riding right up there with Kirk McGuinn and others like Gavin Segall-Abrams when it comes to Whirlie kicking lore…Both McGuinn and Seagall-Abrams put daggers through the hearts of the Page Pirates, back in day…McGuinn in the playoffs, back around 1987, and Segall-Abrams in a couple of regular season games vs. the Pirates, in the mid-2000’s.)

The time is now, and we now have the stats for you, from last Friday night’s games, involving our Guilford County teams….

But first here you go with news you need to know….And now on with The Show….
