Several Caldwell Academy Alumni participated in the NCAA DIV 1 & DIV 111 Volleyball Championships recently.
Sophia Plasman,, ( ’22 ), FR at Samford University. Samford qualified for the DIV 1 Championship as they received the
automatic bid for winning the Southern Conference Championship. They lost in the first (1st) round
to the # 4 seed Louisville, 3–0. Final record 19W–13L.
Hannah Hulsman, (’19 ), SR, Lindsey MacDiarmid , (’21) SO, Berry College. Berry qualified for the DIV 111 as they
received the automatic bid for winning the Southern Athletic Association. They reached the
Sweet 16, losing to Transylvania University 3–1. Final record 25W–5L.
Hannah will graduate in May 2023 with a degree in Psychology.
