Women’s Basketball Faces Mercer in Black History Month Celebration Game
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women’s basketball team is back home in Fleming Gym against the Mercer Bears with a contest at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

UNCG fell to Samford on Thursday, February 2, 68-75, at Fleming Gym.
The Spartans had 28 bench points compared to the Bulldogs’ nine.
UNCG led the game for 4:38.
UNCG outscored Samford in the third quarter 23-15.
Antoniette Emma-Nnopu had a career-high of 15 points, to lead the team.
Akira Wiggins and Faith Price had 11 points each for the Spartans.
Khalis Cain’s 13 rebounds was a game high.
Wiggins had nine assists for a game high.

The Bears are coming off a 68-44 win against Western Carolina to bring them to the 5-3 record in the conference.
This is the second straight win for the Bears and third win in four games.
