Brody Gardner named USA South Rookie of the Week for third straight time
Greensboro, NC – The USA South Athletic Conference has announced that Greensboro College’s Brody Gardner has been named this week’s Baseball Rookie of the Week. The Freshman outfielder from Asheboro, North Carolina went a combined 5-for-17 (.294) with a .333 on-base percentage and a .353 slugging percentage to go along with five runs scored and one double as the Pride posted a 1-3 record last week. In taking one of three games against Berry, Gardner was a combined 5-for-14 with five runs scored and one double.
