Dudley Panthers are looking for a new Head Men’s Basketball Coach

From Twitter and from the Dudley Athletics twitter feed:
Dudley High School is currently taking applications for our Head Men’s Basketball Coach position for the 2023-2024 season.

The Dudley Panthers will be looking for a replacement for their former coach, Josh Prince….

The Dudley Panthers finished third in the Mid-State 3-A Conference this past season…Dudley was (20-7) overall and (12-4) in conference games…This was for the Panthers’ 2022-2023 season…

Overall Josh Prince was (47-22) in his three seasons as the head coach of the Dudley men’s basketball team…Dudley was (29-10) in conference play over those three seasons…

With Coach Prince at the helm, Dudley went (20-9/11-3) in 2021-2022, plus (7-6/6-3) in the shortened 2020-2021 season…

This past season, Dudley lost in the semifinals of the Mid-State 3-A Conference Tournament, and the Panthers advanced to the Second Round of the NCHSAA 3-A State Tournament…Dudley fell to Hickory, 67-47, at Hickory in their final game of the season…

Josh Prince was a very solid and very active coach for the Dudley Panthers, and his presence on the Panthers’ sidelines will be missed…

Josh Prince was the Dudley men’s basketball coach and he also coaches golf at Dudley…

  1. Did he step down or accept another coaching position at another school. Thought he done a great job.

  2. Haven’t heard of Coach Prince switching or changing schools, but we will look into it…

  3. Coach Josh Prince told me today(Thursday) that he stepped down as the Dudley men’s head basketball coach at the end of this past season…

He also told me that he is leaving Dudley at the end of this school year…

  4. Good guy, and coach right here. Someone will be lucky to get him as a coach if he decides to keep coaching.
