Greensboro College Pride drop Saturday USA South match-up with Pfeiffer

Greensboro, NC – On Saturday afternoon the Greensboro College Women’s Lacrosse team welcomed Pfeiffer University to Pride Field as the two teams faced off in a USA South Conference match-up. After a rainy morning, the clouds cleared way for the sun and both teams were ready to hit the field. Unfortunately, Greensboro was unable to get the win, as they fell to the Falcons by a final score of 17-0.

Senior Alex Prillaman (Rocky Mount, VA) led the Pride with five ground balls, while Sophomore Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce (Winston-Salem, NC) finished the game with three ground balls. In addition, as a team, Greensboro won 10 draw controls and had five successful clears. The Pride will have a quick turnaround as they travel to Harrisonburg, VA on Monday, April 3rd to face Eastern Mennonite University. Start time is scheduled for 4:00pm.
